Placement Program

Placement Programs’ purpose is to restore the youth of today in order to place on a path of success and independence.

The purpose of this program is to provide 24-hour supervised housing in a therapeutic setting for “hard to place” youth in care ages 12-18 years. We develop trauma informed treatment plans that guide mental health, case management, therapeutic recreation, and ancillary stabilization services that reduce the effects of trauma, improve behavior, and build resiliency. Additionally, the aim of this program is to transition to less restrictive settings.

The Purpose Of This Program Is To Provide Temporary Care To Girls’ Ages 9-17 Years. We Will Provide Time-Sensitive Trauma Informed Behavioral Health And Case Management Services In A Therapeutic Milieu.

Youth Ages 19-21 Years Will Participate In An Intensive Life Skills Development Program Designed To Launch Them Into Independence And Self-Sufficiency. Youth Will Be Placed In Various Housing Options With Case Management And Therapy Services Provided.

Our foster care programs provides a home away from home for DCFS youth in care. We provide youth with a loving home and prepare them for their future. Our Specialized Foster Care Program (SPEC) provides intensive therapeutic, educational, recreational, and placement services for youth that have experienced trauma. Our Emergency Foster Care (EFC) provides therapeutic and placement services for youth and children that are in need of temporary placement. Both programs provide foster care services for youth in Kankakee, Will, Iroquois, and Cook counties.
