Get involved with your community. Get involved with youth. Get involved with Garden of Prayer Youth Center.

GOPYC has many positions for sponsorship opportunities and volunteer opportunities. Volunteering can make a marked impact on the lives of the youth we work with, and volunteers can take satisfaction from knowing they are touching lives and making positive change in their community and world.

Sponsors who choose to help children and teens to go S.A.F.E. Summer Camp or who contribute to our 'Tis Da Season Toy and Coat Giveaway help make summer and winter more bearable for children and families in need--through our S.A.F.E. Summer Camp, children and teens learn about safety, arts, and gain fun and educational experience through it. S.A.F.E. Summer Camp also helps children and teens stay away from violence over the summer months while they aren't in school and crime rates rocket. Those who donate to the 'Tis Da Season Toy and Coat Giveaway before the Christmas season are not only helping keep children and their families warm throughout the cold Illinois months, but are helping low-income families provide Christmas for their children.

Whether you are able to help as a volunteer or a sponsor, giving your time or finances to Garden of Prayer Youth Center guarantees that the lives of young people in our community will be impacted for the better because of your contribution.
